The human experience is so interesting, isn’t it? One day you feel like you are on top of the world, and the next day feels impossible to get through. The ups and downs are overwhelming, and it can be hard to cope through all the transitions, milestones, day-to-day struggles, celebrations, and tragedies life throws our way.
While there is no official manual for how to human, two things have helped me greatly:
- We win every time we choose to be the highest, bravest, most unique version of ourselves.
- Absolutely NO ONE benefits when we give into our own doubts and fears.
Life is much more fulfilling and exciting when we finally decide to move through our insecurities, embrace who we are, and pursue our passions whole-heartedly.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
- Does it feel like everyone else is succeeding in their lives, but you can’t seem to see yourself as successful, too?
- If you had just a little more self-esteem, would you be living a different version of your life right now?
- Is there a repetitive pattern you keep getting stuck in, which prevents you from moving forward?
- Are you worried that your past is too complicated, and now it’s too late to make positive changes?
To be transparent, I used struggle with these things EVERY SINGLE DAY, and still do from time to time. The fear of failure, judgment, and not being good, smart, or talented enough used to paralyze me. I’ve spent a lot of time learning how to accept myself for exactly who I am, and let me tell you something: Life is SO much sweeter on the other side of fear.
